Aspen Meadows Campground offers a rustic retreat amidst Colorado's natural beauty. The campground features 35 basic, tent-only campsites, providing a serene setting for a camping adventure.

Facilities and Amenities

Facilities at Aspen Meadows include a water pump, vault toilets, and designated campsites complete with tables, fire rings, and high-use tent pads. However, rooftop camping or camping in your vehicle is not permitted at any site within Aspen Meadows.

Water Sources

For water, there are two sources within the campground. A hand pump is conveniently located near site #31, while a "jug filler" can be found at Meadow Loop site #8. Visitors are advised to bring extra water containers to minimize trips to the hydrants, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Aspen Meadows Campground offers the following facilities and amenities:

Equestrian Facilities

Sites 15 and 16 will accommodate horses.​

Campers have the option of tethering, cobbling, or erecting a temporary corral for their horses. There is room to park a traditional horse trailer at both of these sites, but not a combination horse trailer/RV.

Cost Details:

  • Aspen Meadows Basic Campsite: $28.00

 

Campground Regulations:

  • Check-out time is 12 noon
  • Check-in time is 1 p.m. or later
  • Quiet hours are observed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Fires must be attended at all times
  • All pets must be on a leash of no more than six-foot, at all times
  • Do not tie any lines or ropes to trees
  • Vehicles must remain on designated roadways
  • Do not discharge firearms or any weapon
  • Keep food in your vehicles or bear box if provided at your site
  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited
  • For emergencies call 911
  • This campground closes in mid-October and typically opens in mid-May depending on weather conditions.​

 

Notes:

  • Aspen Meadow Campground provides camping for tents only (no trailer or motor home parking.).
  • Not all sites have bear boxes. If the site has no bear box, food must be stored in your vehicle. Some sites share a bear box with another site. Please only use your side of the double box, as labeled with the site number.
  • Horses are allowed in sites 15 & 16.
  • All campsites have tent pads.
