EJ’s Lodging, Camping & Stabling is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the stunning Pocahontas county in Dunmore, WV. When you arrive at this horse campsite, you are struck by its breathtaking beauty. The pristine location of EJ’s is surrounded by Seneca State Forest, the Greenbrier River Trail, and the Cass Scenic Railroad. It is truly a nature lover’s paradise, with endless opportunities to explore the great outdoors.

One of the standout features of EJ’s campsite is its facilities for horse lovers. You don’t have to leave your equine friends behind when you come to stay at EJ’s. You can bring your own horse and enjoy the well-maintained trails running through the forest and along the river. For those without horses, the campsite is still a treat for horse lovers, as many guests bring their mule-drawn wagons along the Greenbrier River trail. The beauty of the trails is matched only by the picturesque backdrop of the surrounding mountains.

EJ’s proximity to the Greenbrier River Trail and Cass Scenic Railroad also affords guests a wealth of outdoor activity options. From hiking and mountain biking to fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and tubing, there is something for everyone at EJ’s. There’s, even more, to explore for astronomy enthusiasts at the nearby Greenbank Observatory or for winter sports lovers at Snowshoe Ski Resort.

Another perk of staying at EJ’s is the opportunity to retreat to Seven Trees, the riverfront lot that’s just a mile and a half from the main campground. Here, guests can immerse themselves in nature, watch the river flow by, and relax in the shade of the shelter. Primitive camping at Seven Trees is also an option for those who want to get even closer to nature.

Finally, EJ’s has all the camping essentials to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you decide to relax by the campfire and make s’mores or want to take advantage of the outdoor shower and restroom facilities, everything you need is at your fingertips. And if you need anything extra, the friendly and accommodating staff are always willing to help.
