Multiple non-electric equestrian campsites beckon riders, each thoughtfully designed with trailer parking, picnic tables, fire rings, tie lines, a manure pit, and a vault toilet. In 2014, a high-capacity well, complete with a hand pump and generator hook-up, was installed, ensuring that both humans and their four-legged companions have access to clean water.

Grant Creek Horse Camp is the only overnight-developed campground that is maintained by the Beltrami County NRM Department as a designated campsite for horseback trail riding. There are seven campsites available, having an associated picnic table, tie-line, and fire ring.
