Directions:

From the junction of Montana Highways 83 and 20 (also known as ""Clearwater Junction"") travel east on Highway 200 for 12.5 miles. Turn north on Monture Road #89 and drive 7.5 miles on a good gravel road.

 

Monture Creek Campground offers the following facilities and amenities:

  • Watering tank
  • Loading ramp

 

This campground is adjacent to the Monture Creek Trailhead and has facilities for horse camping. It is also adjacent to the Monture Creek Trailhead. By trail, it is 16 miles by trail to the Bob Marshall Wilderness and 11 miles to the Scapegoat Wilderness. Public stock facilities are available in the area.

There are no hookups available, but grassy areas and trees for shade make this a nice setting for RV camping. Monture Creek is available for fishing and there is a trailhead adjacent to the campground.
