The Campground

Offering a peaceful retreat, Pleasant Valley Campground boasts seven spacious sites, each equipped with tables and fire rings, catering to both tent campers and those with trailers or RVs up to 32 feet in length. For equestrian enthusiasts, there are two dedicated stock campsites featuring convenient feed bins and corrals, ensuring comfort for both campers and their equine companions. Gravel or native material roads and parking spurs add to the rustic charm of the campground.

While embracing the rugged grandeur of Montana, visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the great outdoors. Vault toilets ensure convenience while communing with nature. It's important to note that potable or drinking water is not available on-site, so guests are encouraged to bring their own supplies.

Directions: 

From Libby follow Hwy 2 south to milepost 63 and take a right into Pleasant Valley Campground. 

 

Pleasant Valley Campground offers the following facilities and amenities:

  • 7 sites tables and fire rings
  • 2 stock campsites with feed bins and corrals
  • Campground roads and parking spurs are gravel or native material
  • Vault toilets
  • Grills
  • Trash collections

 

Cost Details:

  • Free to use

 

Restrictions:

  • 16-day stay limit on all National Forest System Lands. 
  • Pets are welcome but must be leashed. 
  • Lighting of fireworks is not allowed on National Forest System Lands.

 

Notes:

  • No potable water is available.
  • All sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • The campground is managed from Memorial Day through Labor Day but is available all year to visitors. Access is dependent upon weather conditions.
  • The campground is accessible by car. Dump facilities, showers, laundry, gas, ice, and a store are located in Libby.
