Hough Ranger District. Snake Lake Campground is particularly well-suited for equestrian campers. With 17 campsites available, eight of which are equipped with corrals, the campground is designed to cater to those who wish to bring their horses along for the adventure. Horses are allowed to stay overnight in designated equestrian campsites only, ensuring both the comfort and safety of your equine companions. Though the sites do not offer hookups, the spacious, shady locations by the lakeside provide a tranquil and comfortable environment for campers and their horses alike.
