Campground is 20min off Highway 58. Cooler in the summer and a nice break from the lower elevation heat. Signage to the camp is poor. Corrals at campsites, may be missing a gate on one (visitor report). Horse sites are #60-61

Tehachapi Mountain Park, established in 1952, covers 490 acres. The Park is located eight miles southwest of Tehachapi, a full service community. Elevation above sea level ranges from 5,500 - 7,500 feet. Forests, four season weather, natural spring water, hiking, mountain-biking and equestrian trails all contribute to make this an ideal recreation area yearlong.
