Platte River Trail provides access to the South Platte River. It is an easy to moderate 3 mile hike through forest and meadow. Portions of this trail were impacted by the 2002 Hayman Fire and the trail may not be well defined in some areas. This trail is generally accessible year round; however, access may be more difficult in the winter months.
