Florida's heritage comes alive with living history demonstrations of the early Florida cow hunters in an 1876-era cow camp. Lake Kissimmee State Park is a 5,930-acre Florida State Park located north of State Road 60, 15 miles east of Lake Wales. It contains floodplain, forest, prairie, hammock, flatwoods and Lakes Kissimmee, Tiger, and Rosalie.

Primitive equestrian camping is available at Lake Kissimmee State Park. Come prepared: Water, electricity and restrooms are not available.
