Camp Description

Bozeman Creek

Bozeman, MT 59771

Mystic Lake Cabin offers a unique retreat for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure in the pristine wilderness of Montana, built in 1930 and open year-round. Located in a non-motorized area, guests can expect a tranquil environment surrounded by nature's beauty.

Mystic Lake Cabin provides access to a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, hunting, and exploration of numerous trails. In the summer, guests can hike, horseback ride, or mountain bike to the cabin, while winter access is available by cross-country skis or snowshoes. It's the perfect destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the great outdoors.

Tucked into a stand of pines near the southeastern shore of Mystic Lake, the cabin offers a secluded escape at an elevation of about 6,400 feet. Surrounding the lake are meadows that burst with wildflowers in the summer, along with evergreen forests and the peaks of the Gallatin Range. Visitors may have the chance to spot black or grizzly bears, moose, elk, or mule deer, as well as various bird species that call the area home.
