Dry canyon

Head out on this 16.9-km out-and-back trail near Springville, Utah. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 6h and 3 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through November.

The trail starts at the gate and follows a creek bed up the canyon. After about a half mile the trail forks. the left is Dry Canyon Trail. The trail slopes gently up through scrub oak, aspen, cottonwood, and Douglas Fir. Plants include wild rose, chokecherry, scarlet gilia, penstemon, blue bells, and mule ears.
