Camp Description

Moran, WY

The Angles Trailhead is located behind Togwotee Mountain Lodge off of Forest Service Road 30040 approximately 9 miles from the Blackrock Ranger Station; though it is not an official campground there are 2 no-fee campsites without hookups. There is also bear food storage at each of these sites, along with 2 unofficial fire rings. The only water source is non-potable and must be boiled; in addition, there is a basic vault toilet. Adjacent to the trailhead there are 2 hitch rails and temporary-use corrals. The Teton Wilderness boundary is roughly half a mile from the trailhead. The trail itself descends about a mile and a half down Angle Mountain, and meets up with the Pack Bridges which is a popular fishing hole on the Buffalo River.
