Caney Mountain Horse Camp offers the following facilities and amenities:

  • Cabins
  • Bunk houses
  • Equestrian campsites
  • Parking space
  • Covered and open stalls
  • Picnic tables
  • Fire ring
  • Bathhouse
  • Water

 

Caney Mountain Horse Camp is accessed by the Forest Service. It has maintained gravel roads that can accommodate large horse trailers. Unfortunately, they do NOT offer trail horse rentals, however, corrals for your horses are set up at each campsite. The campground has plenty of room to maneuver trailers.

 

Cost Details:

  • $30.00 per night for camping. This includes 1 person. Each additional person is $5.00.
  • Cabins - $75 to $125
  • Covered 10×10 Stalls – $20 per night.
  • Open 10×10 Stalls – $10 per night.
  • Hay: High-quality grass hay for sale when available.
  • Generator Rental: 4,500 Watt Generator, $25 per day + fuel

  • All deposits are non-refundable. If you have to cancel for any reason, we will be happy to move your deposit one time to a rescheduled date.
