Directions:

From Libby follow Hwy 2 to mp 56.7 (approximately 25 miles) and turn right onto W. Fisher/Libby Creek Rd 231 for approximately 4.7 miles. Turn right into the Oscar Miller Dispersed camping sites.

 

Oscar Miller Camping Area offers the following facilities and amenities:

  • Dispersed campsite
  • Vault toilet
  • A hitch rail
  • An unloading/loading ramp for animals

 

(No sign marks the location on the road, but you can see the vault toilet through the trees) Dump facilities, showers, laundry, gas, ice, and a store are located in Libby.

  • Free to use

 

Notes:

  • No Potable water at the site
  • All sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Pack in/Pack out
  • 16-day stay limit on all National Forest System Lands.
  • Lighting of fireworks is not allowed on all National Forest System Lands.
